Altimate Medical started a brand called EasyStand in 1987. EasyStand is a manufacturer of durable medical equipment that is used for health care programs by rehab experts in medical care spaces. EasyStand Evolv is amongst the most reliable stander frames by EasyStand. The modular design makes it one of the most versatile standing frames. It offers 60 different positioning options that are developed with the help of rehab therapists, can manage the most severe disabilities.
The EasyStand Evolv is the most supportive and comfortable sit to stand stander available. With over 60 options and configurations, each unit can be built specifically for an individual or facility. These options, that would normally be custom modifications, allow a stander to be configured for specific needs.
The optimal standing position has been perfected in the Evolv standing frame. By strategically placing the pivot points of the stander in line with the body’s natural pivot points, options like the hip supports, lateral supports, and head support remain in place from sitting to standing, minimizing shear. When positioned correctly, the contoured seat provides a maximum over-center stretch for various body types.The Evolv also accommodates for hip and knee contractures through proper positioning of the footplates and optional independent knee pads.
Accessibility and Independence
The Evolv’s open base makes independent transfers easier. A larger Transfer Seat or Rotating Seat can also be added to make transfers more manageable. To make standing pivot or lift assist transfers easier, an optional Swing-Away Front or Removable Back can be added. The user can independently achieve the standing position with the manual hydraulic actuator or optional push-button Pow’r Up Lift.

Modular design makes the EasyStand Evolv the most versatile standing frame available. The base unit is functional for many users, however when more support is needed a wide variety of positioning options can be added to accommodate the most involved user. The Evolv enables full extension at the hips and knees for those with sufficient range of motion (ROM) and full weight-bearing on the long bones of the legs. For those with limited ROM, sit to stand provides an opportunity to stand in a partial weight-bearing position and potentially progress to full extension over time.
The three point system of padded knee pad, seat, and chest pad provides the individual with support in all positions from sitting to standing. Sit to stand also allows the user to ascend and descend at their own pace and the ability to stop anywhere between sitting and standing.
Provides constant anterior support between sitting and standing, perfect for the individual with limited upper body support and allows standing in a partial weight-bearing position or stopping to rest/acclimate when needed.
For those that self-transfer, it is a quick lateral transfer, flip the knee pad down and you are ready to start standing.
Assisted Transfers Made Easier
For those that require an assisted transfer, several options ease assisted transfers such as swing-away fronts, removable backs, transfer and swivel seats, as well as elevated rear legs that allow more flexibility when patient lifts are needed.
Critical areas are padded so the knee pad, seat, back and front pad are always well cushioned. Roho® seat cushions and knee pads are options for those with pressure management issues.
Newly injured and those that have not stood recently often need to acclimate to standing. Sit to Stand allows a user to stop at any point between sitting and standing. This is also beneficial for those who have minor contractures in the knees and hips and allows them to be fully ranged out over time.
Full Hip and Knee Extension
Allows for an over-center stretch of the hips and the full extension of the knees. This is ideal for achieving all the health benefits of standing.
Accommodates both users needing little added support and those who require significant positioning to go from sitting to standing. Over 60 different positioning options, developed with advice from therapists, can accommodate the most severe disabilities. Additionally, disabilities such as Multiple Sclerosis and ALS are progressive, and positioning options may need to be added over time. Our modular design helps stand those with the most difficult positioning challenges.
Prepare for Exoskeleton Walking
According to regulatory approval of exoskeleton products, prior to using an exoskeleton walking device, users should be able to stand using an assistive standing device (e.g., EasyStand Evolv). Being able to stand comfortably for longer periods of time and getting a proper stretch, makes the Evolv the ideal partner for pre-walking needs before starting a walking program.

Cancellations (Before Order Ships)

Cancellations of Custom Orders
In the event, you have made a custom or made to order products cannot be canceled or refunded as these products are put into production specifically for your order.
These units, are custom made to your specification or created once you order. Once you place your order they start building your unit. Your warranty will guarantee you a fully functional and operational product. If it is not clear whether your order is custom or made to order, please message or call us.
All sales are final for Custom made and Made-to-order products.
Refunds and Returns
If you need to exchange your product, you may do so. You, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs throughout any returns and exchange processes.
Not all orders are available for return once they have shipped. We order our products directly from the manufacturer. Therefore, if the manufacturer will not permit us to return a product, we cannot offer you a return. This often varies on a case-by-case basis; please reach out to us if you would like specific information on your brand and/or product.
Due to drastically increasing LTL/freight shipping costs, any outright returns will incur 25% cancellation fee + return shipping costs. If you are replacing the product with something else, we may be able to help you cover some of the costs depending on the product.
We promise to do our best to get your order to you as soon as possible. We provide estimated shipping times on the product pages based upon what our suppliers and freight companies tell us, and those estimated shipping times may change or vary without notice (Due to supply chain issues, the steel mills behind on making metal, the manufacturers delayed because of the mills, the overwhelmingly demand on shipping, factory/warehouse and dock workers and so on).

Warranties vary depending upon the manufacturer - see individual product pages for details. Warranty damages occur over time and from use. If an item was damaged upon arrival, and not reported within 30 days, that is not a warranty claim.
